Asbury United Methodist Church community suppers

Asbury United Methodist Church (45th St & Bloomington Ave) invites all to free community suppers held each Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.  Elementary age children can stay for Adventure Club at 6:30 p.m. which includes stories, games, songs and crafts.  Teens are invited to the Teen Center to hang out, play games, (maybe do homework?) at 6:30 on Wednesdays as well.  Supper menus can be found on the website:  www.asburychurch.info

All readers are invited to the Asbury Book Club which meets at 1 p.m. in the Asbury United Methodist Church Parlor (45th St & Bloomington Ave). 
On Monday, October 1st, we will discuss While Other People Sleep, a mystery by Marcia Muller.  On Monday, November 5th, we will discuss A Thousand Splendid Suns, a best seller by Khalid Husseini.  Come for a snack, fellowship and a chance to share opinions and insights about the books.
