About the board
Board members have a critical role in shaping our neighborhood nonprofit for years to come, especially during this time or organizational transition. If you have any questions about this process, please contact us at frnng@frnng.org .
Members of historically underrepresented communities are especially encouraged to run, including renters, seniors, residents with disabilities, and residents who identify as LGBTQIA+ or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and/or People of Color).
Time commitment and duties
The estimated time commitment is five to six hours per month. FRNNG monthly meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Board members are expected to participate in these monthly meetings, as well as respond to emails, serve on a FRNNG committee, and volunteer for events.
Terms typically run two years, but may be subject to change because the organization is in transition.
Deadline to register
The deadline to complete this online form is Saturday May 13th at 12 p.m.
You can also register to run for the FRNNG Board in person at the Annual Meeting.
All voters will have access to your name and why you'd like to run for the board when voting opens.
